For 20 long years, (yes 20 years!!) I was trapped in a cycle of relentless suffering and medical gaslighting. On the outside, I looked healthy, and every test I took seemed to confirm that. But inside, my body was screaming. I endured a never-ending list of symptoms: excruciating migraines, constant sinus infections, allergies, painful bloating, unrelenting fatigue, and depression that felt like a heavy fog I couldn’t escape.
Despite my efforts to seek help, doctor after doctor dismissed my symptoms, assuring me that “everything was normal.” Yet I felt anything but normal. They offered me nothing but prescription drugs to mask my pain or invasive surgeries that never addressed the root cause. I was told my suffering was “just in my head” or something I had to live with. The conventional healthcare system failed me, leaving me feeling hopeless, invisible, unheard, and trapped in a body that was falling apart.
Then, in 2018, my world imploded. A painful breakup became the tipping point and I went all in, determined to find answers where the conventional system had none. I tried everything—diets, alternative therapies, lifestyle overhauls—searching for the key to my suffering.
It wasn’t until I understood the real culprit—chronic inflammation—that the pieces finally clicked. My invisible symptoms weren’t random; they were a direct result of chronic, untreated infections, unresolved trauma, food sensitivities, and environmental toxins. Once I tackled the root causes, I saw something I never thought possible: healing. The constant pain, fatigue, and anxiety began to fade. I was reclaiming my life.
By 2021, Sydney Golden Health was born. As a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and health coach, I dedicated myself to helping others who are being told their symptoms are “normal” or that it’s all in their head. I know the anguish of being dismissed and the joy of finally feeling free, and I’m here to guide you to solutions that actually work.
